I like shopping at Aldi because of decent prices. I would like it better if shelves and freezers were not picked over with many empty spaces. Also numerous items are not priced and I am not inclined to run around to get price checks, I just don't buy the item.
In general i love Aldis and its where i do most of my shopping. BUT this is the worst Aldis in the Baltimore area. Staff aren't helpful and there is no accountability.
On more than one occasion, cashier hasn't helped me because she was on her way to a cigarette break.
This aldi feels a lot bigger than all the other ones. It is a nice store. It is clean and customer service is acceptable. Expected from the German machinery
This location not only has rude workers who will refuse to check patrons out they now also have the self-service checkouts set to constantly prompt you to scan another item. It's as though they expect us to match the speed of the people being paid to scan items on our own simply to avoid being pestered by the register. So annoying.
Overall it’s good as an Aldi location, I’ve given 1/5 stars because self checkout is broken. Every time I have visited this location I have watched multiple people abandon their carts at the self checkout because it is broken and there apparently aren’t enough people to help them. This further slows down checkout because now that self checkout station can’t be used until a staff person clears the area. Just hire humans to do the work in the first place, please.
I am a HUGE Aldi supporter. That said this location frequently drops the ball. It is not unusual for them to be out of common items( or shelves just not restocked?) . The biggest ball drop was the installation of the self checkout machines. Despite the corporate propaganda about "not reducing staff" There is never more than one cashier working to serve customers, meaning long lines. Maybe the managers will get a clue and see that a line means we want a live cashier. The cashiers were one reason I loved Aldi, they were super fast, efficient and friendly. If you want me to use self checkout give me a discount, otherwise I will be waiting in line I guess.
Their prices have always been great, but the recent shift to one register and no one else in sight to help his lousy customer service and an even Crummier way to treat your employees. What's next? Robots doing peoples' jobs. I thought you were better than that. Just another greedy corporate pig exploring your workers and having no concern for your customers.
Great prices and surprisingly strong cheese selection. I like the self check out options and rarely have to wait more than a minute, if at all.
